This simple wand is made from a piece of sea-washed gorse wood found at Lyme Regis - the famous fossil beach in Dorset . It measures 33cm long and has the ogham symbol associated with gorse on its end.

Gorse is a small shrubby plant that often grows on cliff tops, sometimes called furze it has bright yellow honey-coconut scented flowers and spikey green thorn-leaves. It’s is associated with sensuality and passion - the kind of passion that may require digging deep through layers to access it.
