Hand-carved Bay Laurel Wand from Cornwall - For Daphne & Apollo

GBP 25.00

This gorgeous and unusual wand was made from a piece of Bay Laurel wood wand that I found Cornwall during the winter - someone had pruned their very large bay tree and left a huge pile of branches for me to find.

The Bay Laurel (sometimes just called the Bay) is sacred to Daphne, Apollo and to the Sun.

I finished the wand with a coat of lovely local beeswax polish. It's definitely one of a kind (as are all our wands).

It measures about 33 inches long and has a spiral pyrographed on its end.

Raven has been making wands for decades, and their work has flown around the globe to Witches and Magical Practitioners on many continents. Wands are made of gathered, not harvested wood usually found locally in the South West of England (and a few from further afield) and are often ornamented with pyrography. Each wand is finished with handmade beeswax polish from happy local bees and will come to you in a simple bag made from upcycled fabric.

While each wand is unique, Raven is sometimes willing to consider make a wand in a similar style for you from the same or a different wood.
