These Elder Futhark Rune Tablets are made from Irish bog oak - oak that has been buried in a bog for 5000 years or so which gives it this amazing black colour.there are 24 runes and one blank rune should an accident befall one or if you follow the more modern tradition of working with a blank rune for wyrd

The tablets are about 2.5cm in length and have each rune pyrographed into the wood - they are not identical sizes since they were cut by hand.

You will receive a set similar, but perhaps not identical to that pictured. Your set of runes will arrive in a bag made from upcycled fabric and with a basic information sheet.
