Avalon Mistletoe Athame Pendant

GBP 12.00

A rare and wonderful athame pendant made out of a piece of mistletoe wood that I found, broken a poplar tree that it was growing from right close to Glastonbury, the mythical Isle of Avalon

The wood has been carved by hand into an athame, and the wood sanded smooth. It's a small athame and It measures about 7cm long and is a rare and unusual!

it hangs on a generous length of waxed cotton cord along with a mistletoe wood bead - an unusual pendant and also a fully functional, small travel athame - blunt so it should give no concern to air travel (assuming all are having a good day).

Mistletoe is sacred to the druids - it's a magical plant - a true parasite, growing and taking nourishment from it's host tree. You can see it best in the winter, growing high in the branches in big green leafy balls
