Magical English Oak Gall Ink for Spells, Rituals and Magic

GBP 10.00

Oak gall wasps lay their eggs on oak trees and in doing so cause the oak tree to create galls - deformations around the egg. The larvae eventually hatches and leaves the oak gall to harden and dry, and when the leaves fall from the tree they become easy to find - if you're wiling to climb through undergrowth!

Last winter I found enough to make ink out of - a messy and lengthy alchemical process, but one done with intention and infused with magic ! This unique ink is available in limited quantities for you.

The ink is intended to be used to write spells, in rituals, entries in books of shadows, magical sigils and drawings - whatever you desire. You will find that whatever you write starts off grey and darkens to black with exposure over time.

You will receive a 25ml bottle.

The ink is well filtered, however I can't guarantee that it's 100% free of all plant material, so I would not advise using it in valuable fountain pens, just in case.

Oak is one of the trees of the Celtic Tree Ogham where it is associated with strength and courage and of course also the Oak King rules the bright half of the year from Winter Solstice through to the Summer Solstice.

Oak galls are also called oak apples and snake eggs and are used in spells and charms, and in ink and dye making!

Please note, this ink is in no way fit for internal use, it contains ingredients that are potentially toxic.
