A gorgeous pendant made from a slice from a branch of of yew wood - winter prunings from a very old yew hedge.
The pendant measures 3.5cm long, and has been finished with beeswax polish.
It hangs on a generous length of waxed cotton cord with loose ends (so you can tie it to your preferred length) and with a yew wood bead.
The Yew is associated with the final letter of the Celtic Tree Ogham and is thus associated with death, transitions, gateways and the beginnings of new cycles. It’s associated with the Dark Moon, and Samhain magic. Yew is poisonous in all its parts if ingested - so this is a wand that should be kept well away from children and animals.
