Cypress Wood Witches Wands for Grief, Necromancy and the Underworld.

A beautiful, magical wand made out of a piece of seasoned cypress wood from the branch of a tree that I found blown down in Somerset, UK.

This chunky wand measures about 37cm long. I carved the end into a tapering point, and sanded the wood smooth, leaving the bark for the handle, and pyrographing little spirals onto its ends.

It's been given a coat of lovely local beeswax polish and will have another before it leaves for it's new home.

The wand will come to you with a free wand bag made from upcycled fabric.

Cypress is associated Hades, with ancient Greek funeral rites and necromancy. It's associated with the gates to the underworld as well as with consecration, and maybe helpful in moving through grief.
