Blackthorn Root Athame
I occasionally find pieces of blackthorn root after the fields are ploughed in the winter.
This piece was almost athame shaped already, and only needed a little carving and shaping, along with plenty of sanding!
It measures about 17cm in length and is intended for ritual use only - the wooden blade is not designed to cut physical objects.
