Whitby Jet is considered to be the finest jet in the world, and was much beloved by Victorian jewellers - and witches.
A fabulous necklace made of Baltic amber with central pendant of Whitby jet, drilled in my own workshop along with Baltic Amber Chip beads and irregular shaped Lignite Jet beads. It closes with a Tibetan silver toggle clasp.
It measures about 50cm long, and is one of a kind.
I test random beads from each string of beads I buy to make sure that they are in fact the real thing and not fake.
